I'm looking at a long (but not too long I hope!) road to recovery after this week as I go into Cheltenham Hospital for a hysterectomy. Eek! So - may not post for a while, but, when feeling better and up and about, I look forward to sitting here or in one of the many pavement cafes in Cheltenham again watching the world go by! This is Montpellier Street - one of my favourite areas as you may know. See you soon!

Good luck with your surgery! I hope you have a quick and complete recovery! Maybe someone will bring you coffee and treats until you're ready for the outdoor cafe' again?!

Hi Lynn, well from one who has had such an op. all I can say, is 'do as you are told, and rest after, do not pick anything heavy up! have a sleep in the afternoons, and hopefully you will soon be back to yourself again,'My thoughts and prayers are with you my dear, and I wish you a speedy and full recovery.

It's slow. Can't do much, can't move easily, and still a bit painful 2 weeks afterwards. Oh well, little by little. Am being looked after very well :)
